Our products are made in low quantities. Driven by demand, we knit and restock sold-out products. Thanks to the carefully selected materials as well as functional and timeless designs, with the right care, our products can be used for multiple years. We design and make our products ethically and entirely in Bavaria, Germany. We source our yarns from partners who value fair working conditions.
Product quality begins with the choice of materials. That is why we partnered with a worldwide leading brand for hand-knitting yarns as our supplier. Our core offering is based on virgin merino wool, alpaca and cashmere as natural fibers. We are proud to keep the complete production lifecycle from design to knitting and quality assurance in Bavaria, Germany.
Our products are created with durability and long product lifespan in mind. They can be washed as per their individual washing instructions, and if required, they can be repaired. We limit polyester and polyamide in our knitwear. Specific products in our offering contain small amounts of synthetic fibers to achieve durability or aesthetic. It is our priority to also offer a wide range of knitwear made from entirely natural materials, because products made entirely from natural fibers don’t introduce microplastics in the environment during use and washing. When shipping online orders we work with a logistics company committed to environmental protection.
Our supply partners value animal welfare, comply with ethical standards, and work with certified production sites with animal-friendly conditions. Our merino wool is mulesing free, which means that the sheep are not subjected to distress.
Knitting by hand is a centuries-old human tradition and true cratfmanship. Our products are created completely in-house and with great attention to detail and accuracy.
